Most items in the library are held in the general collection and are available for loan.
Books, magazines, videos and CDs are shelved together.
The Library of Congress Classification scheme is used to group resources into alphabetical codes according to subject.
Subject guides are available to help locate resources in the library.

Not available for loan. Mainly dictionaries, encyclopedias, yearbooks and directories, this collection is a useful starting point for research as it can help with definitions and background information on your topic. -

Shelved according to standard number. -

A range of newspapers are received including The Cairns Post, Courier Mail and The Australian.
