Certificate and diploma courses
Programs and courses in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander programs, arts and music, business, education and training, health and community care, language and literacy, information technology, marine, post trade, pre- apprenticeship, tourism and hospitality, beauty, fashion, hairdessing, massage, outdoor industries, short courses and TAFESEC Secondary School programs.

International students
International students can be assured of industry-relevant and recognised training in areas such as horticulture, seafood, tourism, hospitality including cookery and bakery, massage and information technology. The Language Centre provides English language training for students who wish to improve their language skills.
Tropical North Queensland TAFE is also able to enrol international students into courses at Barrier Reef TAFE in Townsville, Southern Queensland TAFE in Toowoomba and Wide Bay TAFE in Harvey Bay.
TAFE Secondary School (TAFESEC) programs
TAFESEC programs provide high school students with the opportunity to complete TAFE qualifications while still at school. The institute delivers over 20 programs and courses in the areas of business, community care, fashion, health, hospitality, Indigenous studies, tourism and trades.
