Learn about entry points to study at Tropical North Queensland Institute of TAFE, with a range of education pathways to choose from.
- direct entry into a Certificate or Diploma program if you meet the academic and English requirements;
- completion of a General English or an English for Academic Purposes program, both of which will prepare participants for entry into future training.

Tropical North Queensland Institute of TAFE is committed to providing students with clear pathways to university.
Depending on the diploma program completed, you can receive either half a year or one year credit towards your university degree. New arrangements with various universities are being developed all the time. Contact the International Student Unit for information on pathways to University.
